Rebecca has the special ability to see how much time someone has left before they die. After the death of her mother, she decides to close herself off from any human connection, fearful of losing another person close to her. As a result of her social reclusiveness, she develops a cynical attitude toward life, knowing that everything is temporary.
That all changes when she meets Nassim, a happy-go-lucky guy with an interesting appreciation for the things around him. As the two come to develop an unlikely friendship, Rebecca has to decide whether or not she wants to let her ability control her life forever.
